Sat. night my SD had her boyfriend spend the night, as always. She never asks anymore, he just automatically is at our house every second of the day that she is here,m which is every other weekend. Anyway, she has been told over and over that if he spends the night, that he is to sleep on the couch or on the floor in the computer room, where she sleeps, with the door OPEN. Usually they have the door shut most of the night and then right before morning he jumps down to the floor and they open the door to try to fool us, but I am not an idiot. I never fell for that for 1 minute. Saturday night, they slipped up though. Anyway,I got up to go bathroom Sat. night and I heard them chatting some in the computer room, with the door shut, and the lights off. So, being the inquisitive person that I am, I sat in the chair, with the tv muted, and listened. After a few minutes of me listening, it appeared to me, by the sounds that I was hearing, that they were having sex. I still sat there and after about a half hour I heard my SD sneeze and then she made the mistake of turning the light on. I could see shadows of her feet under the door, because she stood right in front of it, and it appeared that she was putting her pants back on, because 1 leg lifted and then the other. The door opened and you should have seen the look on her face when she saw me sitting there in the chair. It was totally awesome catching her at this. The biggest thrill that I had in a long time. I told her that her boyfriend could NOT spend the night anymore. Right away, being the spoiled brat that she is, she told me that it was none of my business. I told her that it WAS my business because it was happening in my house and then she told me that it was her DADS house, not mine. I quickly reminded her that "her" Dad married me, so it is now MY house too. That made her mad. So, I then heard her throwing things around and realized she was packing up her shit., I heard her call her Mom and tell her that she was coming home. This was at 3:15 am. Her and dopey stormed through the living room and she says to me to tell her Dad that she won't be back. She said that I couldn't yell at her ALL the time then. I have NEVER said one bad word directly to her in 4 years. As a matter of fact, I stooped low enough to apologize to her twice, for things that I didn't feel I had to apologize for in the first place. I bitch allot about her to other people, but have never said a word to her or tried to discipline her in any way. Anyway, when they walked out that door at 3:15 and she said she wouldn't come back, I was finally set free of so much stress that has been built up inside of me. My husband never got out of bed through all of this, but I heard him cough once or twice, so I thought he may have heard us when she left. I went to bed after awhile and then was trying to figure out the right time to tell my husband the next morning. I was so afraid that he would, of course, stick up for her and be mad at me. We got up the next morning and I made myself some eggs before anything was said. I didn't want to ruin my breakfast. Then my husband said "Did the kids leave last night after you guys were arguing?" I said "Yes,they did, but please let me tell you exactly what happened before she changes the story all around." He listened and very much to my surprise, he wasn't even mad at me. Later on in the afternoon, he wrote his ex (her Mom) a short email telling her what went on because we were wondering what she had told her Mom about why she left our house in the middle of the night. My husband even let me read the email before he sent it, which I was glad of, but he had to add at the end that his daughter is always welcome here, but not to use our house as a playground. Well, I knew he would not tell her to stay away. Anyway, she doesn't HAVE to come here, so we will see what happens in 2 weeks, when she would have usually come for the weekend. I hope and pray that she does stay away because I had the BEST day that I had in a very long time after the night she left. I was a different person.... I know even my husband had to notice the change in me because it was VERY obvious. My husband said that his daughter was not going to use me or cut me down for what happened. I think my life story is changing from "Days of My Life" to "Family Feud". LOL I know I am so happy right now and if I can only hold out for a little longer, the son, who lives with us, may soon be out of here too. He actually got mad at his Dad Saturday too, and left, because his Dad was getting on him about not paying for the things that he promised that he would pay for, such as his phone and his car ins. Too bad. It kind of irked me though because when the son stopped in late in the afternoon, the day after the deal with me and his sister, my husband had to tell him all about what happened and even let him read the letter to his ex too. It is NONE of his business, right? Then, at the last minute, my SS mom wanted him to go to her house for supper. I told my husband that I thought something was up with that and that my ss could not coverhis sisters butt because he did not come home until 4:30 am Sunday morning. So, that's my story.
