I have a 3 1/2 yr old step-daughter who has been staying with us every second weekend since she was 1yr old. Occassionally at bedtime she would start to cry a bit and say she wanted her mommy (to her dad who was putting her to sleep) but she could always be calmed and would go to bed nicely. The last few times we've had her have been terrible with this last weekend being the worst. Scenario usually goes...her dad puts her to sleep...within minutes she is crying saying "i want my mommy, i only want her, i want her now, i don't want you, i want my mommy" and she is crying quite hysterically. her dad stays in there trying to console her but she just goes on and on and won't settle. what do we do??

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
