Our son is 23. He was born with myelomeningocele SB and had a shunt placed at birth. He had a revision of his shunt at age 13 without complications. Another revision was needed last November. He has required 4 shunt surgeries in the last 6 months due to complications and the shunt not working. Has anyone else had problems with shunt revisions? He has a follow-up CT this friday, but he has not had any improvements of symptoms, so we are not hopeful that the fourth surgery fixed the problem.
