Well, Kai had a VCUG and renal ultrasound done this past Wednesday. The reflux that he once had has now repaired itself and is gone, no longer there!!!! We also seen that he is infact able to empty his bladder completely on his own, so with training he will be able to use the restroom on his own and hopefully not have to cath himself as often in the future. We will have to now, just to make sure he is fully emptying at least 2x. No results from the ultrasound yet. We also got new AFO's! The bad news is that the scoliosis has not seemed to gotten any worse, nor has it gotten much better so we are going to go see a specialist at Duke U. about bracing. Just wanted to share! Thanks for listening!!!! Hope everyone elses week has been just as great.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
That's great news! He is adorable! Have a great holiday! Cathy
