I have very frequent troubles with constipation and diarrhea. Seems like it's either one or the other, but no happy medium. Every couple weeks I have a blowout and completely clean out my bowels. Then I don't have any BM's for a few days until the next one happens. It's just a constant pattern. I've been to my gastro doctor about it and all she did was prescribe me Amitiza, which made me so sick every time I took it that I stopped. Now I haven't had a single bowel movement since last Thursday; tomorrow will be a week. I have cramps in my side and I feel bloated and full. I also have two hemorrhoids that are painful, especially when I strain. In the last week, I've taken two enemas, 3 spoonfuls of milk of magnesia, Miralax twice, and four nights in a row I took 3 stool softeners. I'm absolutely miserable and don't know what else to do. All the information I've found is about the diet I should eat to stay regular. But I need a quick fix now to get rid of all the stool in my system. I've been to urgent care about this before, so I really feel like I've exhausted all my options. Any advice would be extremely appreciated!

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
