I'm new to this but I need some advice or just to hear from someone that will know what I'm talking about. I have spina bifida with an artificial sphincter implant. I was just told today that I have to have a bladder augmentation to make my bladder bigger to help with the pressure and the reflux that's going back into my kidneys. Has anyone else had this done? What do have to have to look forward to with this process I'm completely scared about having this done, cause of my implant i've never had to catherize myself and now they are saying after my surgery my implant may not work and I'll have to catheterize myself. Please Help!!
