Does anyone have experience with or any informationn about finding accessible housing/apartments? Am on Section 8 lists and AHVP but those take so long. Am not looking to go into elderly housing. Preferably regular apt. building that is accessible. Any advice?

I don't have an info on housing. I wish I did though. I do know in my area in larger town such Little Rock and Fayetteville there is more of an oppurtunity. However I live in a rural area and love it so I am trying to figure out a way to get accessible housing here

Go to your local Housing Authority office. They always have listings of apartments that are available. Then you have to get on the phone to these places and check them out so they fit your need. Also ask friends and loved ones to keep an eye out for you. Good Luck! CathyM
