Im about to apply for disability. I keep reading that I should get my medical records, but which ones? I have 17 different medical conditions that i'm being treated for. A total of 61 doctors in the last 5 years, over 30 hospital admissions, multiple Er trips, several different hospitals and at least 2000 pages of medical records. There are over 250 x rays, 17 cat scans and 13 MRIs. A whole variety of tests from needle EMG's to Discgrams. I'm afraid that sending this much will only overwhelm my case, not help it. Is there such a thing as *too much information*? Should I only gather certain records? Only get those that relate to the reason im disabled and not the rest? Its going to cost hundreds of dollars and I dont want to pay for what i dont need.
