Well, I finally got my appeal hearing date. It is oct. 7. I am not sure I understand everything I got in the packet. I believe they have asked a vocational expert to be there. Is this normal? They included a letter they sent to him. His name is George Starosta. The name of the judge is Jennifer M. Lash. I think I am going to hire a lawyer. The thought of going through this by myself is causing me great anxiety. I spoke to the secretary of a social security lawyer several months ago and she told me I will never win because I don't have a specialist saying I am disabled. My primary care Dr. has said I am disabled, do I really need a specialist? Any advice would be great!

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
