I quit 3 weeks ago and was worried about possible weight gain as I am also dieting. Until I quit I was losing on average 1 or 2 pounds a week and then for 2 weeks after I quit I didn't lose anything even though I was still following my diet. I went to Holland and Barrett and asked the assistant her advice and she recommended Sea Kelp. She said that as smoking speeds up your metabolism, it slows down when you quit so can be harder to lose weight but Sea Kelp, she said, is a natural product which can boost your metabolism. I was quite sceptical but I saw no harm in trying it so I bought some and for a week I took 1 tablet, 3 times a day with meals as instructed. At the end of the week I got on the scales and found I had lost 2 pounds!! Maybe this is just a coincedence but I am convinced that the Sea Kelp has made a difference so I am going to continue taking it. Just wanted to share this with any fellow quitters who are also trying to lose weight.
