MY SON, UNBEKNOWNST TO ME, STARTED SMOKING AT THE AGE OF 9!! HE IS 23 NOW AND HIS LUNGS ARE SHOT. MY OTHER SON ALSO STARTED YOUNG, QUIT FOR 2 OR 3 YRS AND THEN WHEN I QUIT, HE STARTED AGAIN! AMAZING! THEY BEGGED ME TO QUIT FOR SO LONG. I STARTED WHEN I WAS 18. HOW DUMB WAS THAT?!
I QUIT FOR GOOD ON MY SECOND TRY. THE WORST PART IS THAT NO MATTER HOW LONG YOU HAVE NOT SMOKED, THERE IS ALWAYS THAT DESIRE. I REMEMBER WATCHING CRAIG FERGUSON ON LATE NIGHT. HE WAS JOKING ABOUT ALL THE TALK CONCERNING THE END OF THE WORLD. HE COMMENTED THAT IF REALLY THE END OF THE WORLD WAS COMING, THE FIRST THING HE WOULD DO IS HAVE A CIGARETTE. HE QUIT 10 YEARS AGO!!! SCARY.
TIL NEXT TIME,
JERI

I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...

Don't start smoking again. I'm smoke free for over two months now, and TRUST ME, your craving for nicotine will subside. First couple of weeks are rough, but hang in there. It gets better.
