Well, i think you are in a realy good place for this quit. You should certainly do something special for yourself tomorrow, as a celebration. After that, I found drinking OJ helped cut through the cravings and changing as many habits as possible that are connected with smoking. For example, I would immediately grab my smokes and head outside when the phone rang and I knew I'd be on it for more than one minute. Now I grab a glass of water and go into my bedroom (on the other side of the house). This really helped me a lot!
Good luck tomorrow, you have made a great decision!

If you're quitting cold turkey, Drinking a lot of water and taking a lot of showers will flush the nicotine from the inside of your body and keep if from reabsorbing from the outside of your body via sweat glands.
Read the old posts here. There are MANY entries that are precisely about the same thing you are going through now. Reading them might help you feel connected, knowing other folks have gone through the same thing quite recently.
You can do this.
Smile instead when you get angry. Put this job 1st in your life. Forget about the little things that don't matter.
That is what I have done so far for 16 days. It really is easier now. I quit the tootsie pops. The gum is really helping now. I got sugar free twin pops so I could eat as many as I wanted.
And don't forget THROW AWAY any cigarettes and ashtrays. (destroy them completely) I could not dig one out of the garbage because there were none!
Take deep breaths. I also checked my pulse and blood pressure. Both have gone down. And my pulse goes down quicker after I walk now.
Keep coming back here. This board has really helped too!
If I can do this ANYONE can!
