To add to the recommendation of Tselani, I read a book by Allen Carr "the easyway to quit smoking" and I have not had a cigarette in 16 days. I feel better than ever. You can do this!! Remember, come back and read everything...it really is helpful. Best of luck in your quit!
I too quit with Chantix. I started taking it on June 78and smoked my last on June 12 so I am better than 4 mos. quit. I highly recommend Chantix as by the 5th day of taking it I had lost the desire to smoke and quit on the 5th day and have absolutely no desire, whatsoever to smoke. I have now been off for over a month and still have no desire to smoke. You can do it! God Bless

I quit once and started again when I was around a co worker who smoked. She gave me one of hers. Two months later SHE quit and stuck with it!!
So remember that the smokers you are around now will be the quitters too!
It's annoying to quit but it doesn't hurt!
