I read somewhere somebody planning to quit bought their last carton. Carton??? For me, prepping meant buying only by the pack, and keep stretching each one further. A Carr says in Easy Way to keep smoking normally till the last one. Well, don't you think he spent years trying to quit, and did quit & go back, before he was ready for his last smoke? If you've never tried to quit before, you can be successful. Most of us need to practice & prep & train & educate for quitting and can't stay smoke free the first time. If you've tried postponing that first a.m. cig an hour, 3 hours, 4 hours and gained success, and never go back to smoking earlier, you'll have that confidence going into quit and it could be smoother. It helped me. I must constantly reinforce my quit quest. Somedays I feel like, OK thats enough, time for reward. Fortunately, I'm so full of quit thoughts, smoking is not a reward. I'd never enjoy smoking again. Best wishes 08 team, please keep posting. We are here for you.
