Okay, so I keep reading all of these posts about you folks quitting while your partners continue to smoke. I am very impressed. I am actually quitting behind my smoker boyfriend's back. He is away traveling the world, so I thought I would take the opportunity and quit. I can't manage to do it when he is home, we are very good at enabling one another. So he's gone and I am 5 days smoke-free. I am in conflict about his return, can't wait to see him (it's been 5 weeks), but I am afraid I won't have the strength to continue quitting. I know that he will be supportive and very considerate, but I have been known to bully him out of his cigarettes before. I have 10 days, and I need to be ready when he comes home. Please tell me how you live with it everyday, and what I need to do to stay healthy. I guess I know, but thought maybe there is some miracle that has worked for one of you!
