Just an FYI for anyone that is reluctant to pay $100+ for Chantix - GET YOUR INSURANCE CO. TO PAY FOR IT. I called my insurance co and they do not cover Chantix. I had been thru Welbutrin, patches, gum, support program at local hospital. Nothing worked. I still smoke. I explained my situation to the Insurance Co. They confirmed with my MD. Once confirmed, they covered my Chantix. Just a thought in case you inquired with your insurance - Call them back and tell them how you are struggling, hopefully, they will look into it and make an exception as they did for me!
