Awww....Well Good Morning to you Big Duck! I didn't get one of those little messages that I know of, but that is probably because I don't turn on the little chat box very often. So many times when I log in here I am also working at the same time, so I try not to engage in chat conversations to keep myself somewhat reigned in and productive. That much being said, I cannot explain for anyone else. You never know, maybe they stepped away without logging off the chat, etc., but a simple response when they return would be in order in my humble opinion.

I think Luci has a the right idea...there are many here that sign on, take care of a few things here and walk away from their comp.there are many that leave their comps on all day but forget to log out of DS ( I am very guilty of that)..but I also agree with you, when they come bac kto their comp, there is your morning greeting...kindly respond if at all possible.

There are the winds of change blowing across the board lately, just a diffrent feeling here. I know I have been MIA a lot but the love, friendship,compassion and support of this family is still here.

I have that Meebo box thingy turned off, as it is real hard for me to type fast and spell correctly. I am trying not to be on line much, for several reasons, like I am exercising more, and napping more, however Duckie, feel sure dear, if I don't want to be your friend I will be the first to tell you.

I hope it wasn't me, Brian. I truely value our Friendship. Some times I log on just for a quick min to read a hug or a message. I also can be guilty of forgetting to log off. Especially if I get a phone call while I am on. I will walk away while talking thinking to come back only to get side track by something else. Love you, Kiddo. This website doesn't log people out automatically I found out recently. When I went away from the computer, I came back and even though my computer was asleep, when the computer came back up the DS web page was there and I was still logged on. I know that you were not chatting to me, but I thought I would let you know that DS is strange sometimes. I think that it is just a matter of people being away from their computers. I usually log out myself when I am away for security reasons. But if someone is away, the chat box doesn't stay there.

anyway, I don't think that they were being rude--so there!!! I hope you took that last part as a joke!! I am just telling you how I feel!!

One other thing, the chat box I found out causes ads to pop up on my screen so I take out Meebo Chat some of the time in order to eliminate ads. I found that out on the DS Community Board group.

brian, i happen to agree with the others. a lot of times, i will forget to log off or i've stepped away from the computer ( phone ringing, gotta get coffee, etc)

i don't use meebo, I don't like it and i don't like the ads that are on the left hand side of it.

I'm so sorry Duckie, I would never do that,but I know that sometimes people are busy and do leave their comps running without noticing.
