A great distraction

I hope this doesn't sound trivial because it works for me....

Lovmy2 introduced me to the show "The Golden Girls"... I've been taping many episodes on my dvr. Whenever I need a 'happy' distraction, I watch it....you can't help but feel good when you see these 4 women and the humor in it....

Yesterday I was very down and watched 4 episodes- it lifted me right back up -

Bottom line- if you get a craving, depressed or need a good distraction- watch the Golden Girls or find a humorous show on tv- it really helps!!!

HOLY CRAP!!! ok..help is on the way..they re-run on lifetime..now in the eastern time zone, it is on at 8:00am-9:00am and again at 1:00am-2:00am...sometimes lifetime puts different programing in and really makes me mad...
golden girls was originally on nbc from 1985-1992..i own all the seasons on dvd..LOL

I read Chicken soup for the Soul books when I'm down. Or watch re-runs of America's Funniest Home Video. They always seem to be on!

    I gave my 2 week notice last Friday 13th. Now to join you fine people in a life of leisure and nothing else to do but to look out for myself....is it just me or does that sound pretty boring? My goal was to live to retire and I guess having to take early retirement because of health reasons wasn't exactly the way I had planned things.
