Hi, so you're on the patch. I'm about to be. I've done it before. I use gum, licorice and crunchie snacks for the oral fixation. Alos, cinnamon sticks, I pretend the cinnamon sticks are cigs. Hold them like one and toke on them.

Take it one day at a time. I do a lot of reading or keeping the dog and cats apart (that takes up a lot of time!) and cooking. My new found taste buds are going into overdrive and I want to 're-try' food once more. Good luck.

I am on day 4 and I have found several things that have been helping. I dance in my living room, drink TONS of ginger tea, clean, manicures, I take a shower and cry when I feel overwhelmed. I seem to do better at work also. You can paint or write. Oh, and I have hijacked my daughters coloring books! Ooops :) Good luck!!

Sugar free life-savors are a must, at least for me, I keep them in my car, my purse and in my favorite glass ashtray on the coffee table. Personally I discourage nicotine replacements of any kind, yet I'm in no place to judge anyone! Breathe deep, it's going to be hard at any phase of the quit but it is so worth the effort, you are saving your life, don't forget that and don't let the damn nicoDEMON ever win, you are smarter and worth so much more than that damn cigarette!!!!

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
