Has anyone here had an Uvulopalatopharyngoplasty or know of someone who has? My Doctor has suggested this surgery because I can't tolerate the cpap, but everything I'm reading about it scares me to death. My apnea is due to a large uvula and soft palette. During the sleep study the cpap setting worked well for me at 5. I was only able to tolerate it then because I stayed up late the night before so I could sleep there. Here at home,I just can't keep it on. I'd like to have the surgery but it scares me. It would really help to talk to anyone who has had it done. Thank you!

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
