to reach stage 4..cuz if i go to bed at 330am and get only 5 hrs sleepo then im probaly not even getting to stage 4..i had ca sleep study..it was really on oxygen levels 66% very low..when i had my 2nd study it was at its lowest76% but maintain peak of 93 percent..the pulmonary doc said that was good..i dont agree with him at all. the last time i went there my blood p was way up he made such a big deal about it.that i never got to talk with him about my apnea..bp was 150/110. since then im on 3 total bp meds..they say apnea causes the blood p to go up..well ive dropped 55 pounds since i seen him a yr ago..so i might not have it even..but i always use the mask..mine is set at 15 pressure..with 30 min ramp..it don't bother me at all. except when it leaks sometimes..i just get a new mak every 4 monthes they don't care the chargew medicare 350.00 for a full face mask..so my thing is what do i need to do to get the sleep i need to reach stage 4..cuz i when i go to bed at 4am its light at 730am,and if i get to bed late why would i awake after just 3 hrs asleep..in that 3 hr period i should be sound asleep.not looking at the room..when ur aslkeep and in stage 4 your not going to be waking up..its like when im, asleep i sleep about 4-5 hrs then im just dozing off and on till i get mad and get up..i get so much broke sleep..im having problems with deppreshion..thinking this mighty be causing it..im also bipoar..and my meds make me tired threw the day like blood p meds clondine..and minoxidil..and lisinopril..and xanax for anxietys..WOULD IT BENAFIT ME TO GO TO BED AT LETS SDAY 130AM..CUZ I DONT WANT TO BE UP AT 8AM IN THE AM IT MAKES TOO LONG OF A A DAY FOR ME..I DONT WORK IM ON DISSABILTY.. please help me on this thanks james
