i was just diagnosed with skin cancer on my leg (melanoma) which i caught early. I will be having surgery to make sure they get it all if anymore. My question is how do i know that there isnt anymore on my body cuz im really worried. The dermatologist thought the spot on my leg was fine but took it off cuz i requested her to do it anyway and yup it ended up being cancer and now i want all my moles and skin spots removed. Has anyone had a PET scan?? Dont you think the doctor would do one on me just to make sure??
