I have had several spots removed. Some came back cancer - some did not. All sent to pathology, two came back with unclear margins. Went back had more removed, til margins came back clear. Every location has healed great- except for a spot on my upper thigh that was a "changing mole" - margins were not clear - they went back for more, stitched again. (March 2007) Scar is still reddish and purple-ish and puffy, itchy, and sometimes sore. I have even had a hysterectomy since then (May 2007) - and every other scar I have has healed nicely - including the hysterectomy scars - still the leg remains reddish/purple-ish, swollen and itchy... any thoughts? if margins were clear, why is it not healing like the others? I have even tried Mederma - no change! Seems to be lighter after just waking up in the morning - after a full day- it's purple again - and itchy. UGH - help!

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips. Not interested in being with couples and kids,,,I realize a cruise ship will have a portion size of families and couples, but perhaps they also put together a part of the cruise ship for groups of widows/widowers????
