He decided at the last minute that he would just cut a good margin, and that would take care of it. My scar isn't too bad, but his guess-work has come back to haunt me. With Mhos, the pathologist looks at each little slice of tissue under a microscope and when they get tissue that is cancer free, they stop.
Since my doctor decided that I didn't need mhos, I now have precancerous cells next to my scar. I've had two biopsies, and I know that I will be having more this next week when I see my current doctor.
Be thankful for the Mhos procedure, and, like my doctor told me, "You are trading your CANCER for a scar. Be thankful you can make that kind of trade"
