I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
Poor girl... Now she watches over other little children.
i live in a very small town and it seems like everyday there is something in the paper about someone being accused of abusing a child.
i'm getting to the point where i don't want my child to ever be out of my sight but it's hard when i have to work.
she's come home from the sitter with bumps and bruises and burns (yes, burns) but i have no other options and i am racked with guilt. luckily though, i don't have to send her off to her father's or something and i don't have a b/f so the chances of something bad happening are pretty low. thankfully.
Hay heaven hold her close and may we never forget!
It reminded me of why I was happy that my childs father took that "walk" never to be seen again. He was abusive towards me, and the courts wouldn't put my child on the restraining order, leaving visitations for him without supervision of any kind.
The man hit me in the head with a baseball bat full blow, and they still didn't think my child was in any danger. Talk about lack of trust in the court system.
I am very thankful the the father left, never to be bothered again. He's been gone for 5 years now. I recently found this Single Parents" forum and thought I would join, because we all need a support system and I have no one as do many of us.
I have cried for this poor little child, I can not understand why she was returned to the mother twice let alone once. May she rest in peace. And those awful people rot in hell.
