Shyness Support Group
Shyness is a feeling of insecurity that certain people experience while being among others, talking with others, asking favors of others, etc. The initial cause of shyness can vary. Scientists have located some genetic data that supports the hypothesis that shyness is at least partially genetic.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
PS I LOVE SPONGEBOB! :-)
just kidding ladies :D
Psychological and social which sort of intertwine with one another. It it's still a pretty male dominated society and women may be made to feel as if they aren't good enough etc. or simply get pushed down by men. Also, I think women, tend to be prone to things such as depression, the same may hold for shyness-just a different level of not feeling good/happy/not having confidence etc. As was also pointed out, women may be more inclined to actually seek help whereas many men do not. Whether this is because women are often more in touch with their emotions or because society has sort of made it a "rule" that men should not show weakness (or a combination thereof) I don't know.
