I got the Shingles in Oct. of O7, here it is April 08 and I am still battling with the pain. Eventhough the rashes are long gone, the pain is still here... and even extreme at times. The doctor has me on Percocet 10's. They ease the pain, but mostly just make me loopy. What works? I'm beyond tired of the pain. It started on my left chest wall, which makes me feel like i'm having a heart attack. It's overwhelming. I know mine was brought on due to stress. Work was overwhelming, my mom was diagnosed with cancer, my son was diagnosed with ADHD and I was having marital problems all back to back, which the doctor says caused the outbreak. I'm also concerned b/c he said now, i'm more likely to get them again if i find myself under alot of stress. Life is stress. What works best for some of you? What pain treatment weither it be natural or not works best?
