Hi I was diagnosed with shingles yesterday after a week of horrible nerve type pain in a band from my shoulder blade to my breast but I have no rash. GP prescribed acyclovir. Still have pain and intense itching but the itching is more widespread now. Can you have shingles and not get the rash? Am I likely to develop rash this long after pain started? I'm due to go on holiday in 2 weeks and dreading breaking out in scabs!
