I had my first encounter with shingles at the end of March. Rash was on the back of my right thigh, my right buttock, and a bit in the genital area. Since then, I've had pain on and off in my right leg. Usually it's a deep ache, sometimes throbbing, in the back of my right thigh. Sometimes the pain shoots down my leg. I stopped my exercise routine when I had the outbreak and thought maybe it would help to start again. I didn't notice pain while I worked out, but later on that day and into the night -- ouch! My questions are: Do you find that exercise worsens your PHN pain? Should I keep trying? And...am I doing more nerve damage if I continue to exercise? Thanks!
