Hello Ladies. I'm new to this group. I just found out yesterday that I have genital herpes. I'm having a hard time dealing with this. Not only am I in a profession that deals with STD's on a daily basis (I work for a GYN), but I've only had sex with 1 man in the past 3 years. I'm the advocate of all of my friends...I'm always on their ass' to get checked and use condoms. The person I got it from had no signs or symptoms. What I thought 3 days ago to be a UTI with an ingrown hair, is now herpes, and I'm so freaked out about it! I'm very educated on the virus so I don't have any questions persay, but I do need help and support dealing with this. I need people that I can relate to and people that can relate to me. I'm so depressed and I have to take Xanex to even sleep at night. The only other person I can talk to about this is my boyfriend and he feels so bad about giving it to me, I don't even want to bring it up.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
