I think its important to address the cause of your stress. there are temporary measures but I hope you can get to the root of the problem.
Exercise is great, soothing music,massage, meditation, positive people, getting outdoors. If you are really desperate, sleeping meds could help but these can be addictive. I personally only use them as a last resort. There are natural supplements too that can help such as chamomile or valerian.
thinking and stressing about things when you are trying to sleep makes it hard.
