iha's wonderful quote about watercolors reminded me of something i wrote in my journal on 10/01/08..it was when the leaves were changing and you could feel that fall was coming. i wrote: "as the season changes, so do i." although it's just one sentence, it said so much of how i was feeling. i felt this huge weight on me that i couldn't explain but i knew that it was change coming..i knew that i haven't liked how things have been with my parents and brother for years and i knew it was time to change it no matter how hard it is. right now i am at a standstill on what to do, but making the choice of doing nothing is still a choice. you can change yourself, kontiki, i promise you can...you can change for the better..it is sooooo hard, but it's sooooo possible! you can have a happy life and you deserve to!

Thank you all for your support. I can be very self destructive and your support made me want to be more proactive in coming out of it instead of taking the feelings to a self destructive place. I came up with some new plans of action. You people sometimes are my lifeline , I have never experienced anything like this although I have had a lot of professional help through the years.     I gave my 2 week notice last Friday 13th. Now to join you fine people in a life of leisure and nothing else to do but to look out for myself....is it just me or does that sound pretty boring? My goal was to live to retire and I guess having to take early retirement because of health reasons wasn't exactly the way I had planned things. I just can't stay in that building that is reeking mildew...

    I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
