Then I feel even worse because I feel like I'm letting all of my professors down.
A lot of is that we're so afraid of disappointing people that we don't want to even try.
Having direction will definitely help. I'm going to be a college professor, for example. And thinking about that makes me happy and makes me want to actually try.
But yeah, it's a grind, and you really have to just put your nose to the grindstone, grit your teeth and force yourself into it.
It seems like a grind, like putting your head down and just pushing through the bullshit until you see it, whatever it is. For me it was to give my son a normal healthy life and family.
I'm working hard and can see the changes and everyday I get a little closer to my goal.
Just hang in there and you will find your drive.

Now, I am going THROUGH the Healing Journey, and my professional life has been put on hold while I am doing this.
Maybe some therapy might help...or maybe even some meds to help you through. There seems to never be a good time to heal from this...Just have to make the time and do it, so you can have a better quality of life that only through healing can give you.
Good Luck!
