My daughter is turning 5 in a few weeks and lately she is feeling the need to bite and suck on things. It used to be that she would bite and suck on herself, but I have been trying to steer her away from that. She does tell me mom, I need to bite on something, or suck on something. She found an old pacifier in her toy box of which she kind of took to right away. As much as it bothered me to let her use it I thought it was interesting that she usually gets "tummy aches" at bed time every night when I tell her it's time to get ready for bed and calm down a bit, well since she has discovered the pacifier, she hasn't had one tummy ache. I know she can't keep the pacifier, she bites hard on it sometimes and now her teeth hurt. Is there anyone that has been through anything like this? Is there anything I can be giving her to help her with this? Thank you!
