i was just wondering if anyone has prepared themselves for the future now that we are getting to the top of the list, as they say. we have our cemetery plots, living will, wills, and power of attorney done. has anyone else done this too? guess when it comes to a nursing home, if that is in my future, my kids will have to pick that out!! death is just a natural thing of life and we wanted to be prepared and not leave it all there for our children to handle. thanks for reading, love judy

Hi, Mom has her paperwork together, sister is the medical poa, she works with doctors so she is part of the medical family, thank God. I care for mom full time, and I have a 40 hr job too, mom can get around on her own, slowly, think she's getting dementia. I need to do a will and medical poa for ME. Thanks for the friendly reminder!

I started to write a will. I'm only 36, but you never know. I could get killed in a car accident. At 70 miles an hour, some people around here drive like maniacs. I'm a good driver, but I am always looking out for "the other guy"

I have just sorted these things out for myself and my mother. I got a power of attorney for myself, for my two sons which allowed my mum to do one for herself as well. I am so aware of the difficulties of my husbands sudden death four years ago, I just dont want troubles that could be avoided for my family if the same happened to me....

I just printed some advance directive forms to give my children, and I was looking into places to go if I become ill..My children say they would look after me but they have there lives, and I think I would do better being around people my own age. We do have to think about these things. I watched my Mum for a while, now she's with my sister..I don't want to be at the mercy of my family. My husband died at 51 and I'm 61 now..we never know when and if we become ill before we die then I want to be prepared.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
