i am invited to go to a few 18th bday parties soon, one is next friday and the other in a few weeks. i need to buy something to wear for next week but i cut my arm pretty badly last week and im not sure its going to heal, i cant wear a sweatshirt because its the kind of thing that people are going to wear dresses for. i think with the next one i can hold out and i think i will be healed pretty well and cover it up with makeup, but what am i supposed to wear for the first one?
i have no idea what to do because a situation like this hasnt ever happened before. im praying they heal well but what am i supposed to buy, im clueless!!
any responses would be appreciated loooooooads!

You could try a long sleeve fancy top and a long skirt, give the illusion of a dress, maybe off the shoulder if you don't want to feel too frumpy.

Orif you want to wear a dress have a nice sweater that goes with it! Everyone gets cold and it is colder outside, so I doubt anyone will find it odd

i think i could try and get some strong make up because it will probably be dark enough to hide, i will look when i go out, i really want to wear short sleeves so i think i will look for make up before i go clothes shopping! thank you for responding, i was kind of freaking out yesterday but this has helped! x

I had the exact same problem except it was in the summer so wearing long sleeves wasnt really an option. I got round it by wearing a draped shawl over my arms when it was still light and then when it got dark and cooler I put a little cardigan on. One fail safe that always works is a tubular bandage-the kind they give you for sprains. Not very glamorous but you can just tell people you fell and sprained your wrist.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
