I found the Amygdala (part of the brain) It participates in the expression of emotions, control of behavioral activities, and development of moods and is part of the limbic system, which is responsible for processing and integrating emotions.
This is connected to the urge to cut.
I hope this helps people, doctors know how to help limbic system problems!!!!!!!
Love, and good luck!

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
Where'd you find out about this at?
pls keep them comming!
i know i have an issue with this entire area b/c i have a lot of other bad behavior as well, as the cutting.
they are all related.
it's not as simple as just not cutting for me =/
I am going to bring my research to the University of Colorado at Denver, and present my findings, hopefully to get a grant for more research. I don't have the equipment, but if they let me work there, I hope to find more!!!
