I've been self injuring since I was 13, and I can still see pretty much every one of my scars. They're scars, they don't go away. That's why they're called scars.
There are things you can do to make them less visible, but unless you get plastic surgery, there's only so much you can do.
Try vitamin E or cocoa butter on it, or pretty much anything meant for stretch marks is helpful. I found this one stuff from Avon in a purple bottle meant for stretch marks and cellulite that has helped me alot.
Vitamin E cream works good, theres also BiOil and I've heard its done wonders.
7 years is a long time to wait for scars to fade anyway, yeh try coca butter that works pretty well
I use Mederma. idk. It works I guess, but my scars are really bad and dont like to heal quickly. Frustrating... ~Tracie
