Unfortunately, my mum has a whole bunch of clothes on lay-by. As its cruising into summer here, they'll be very short-sleeved. Mum doesn't know I've scarred my arms and I don't want her to know. In some cases I've managed to get away with long-sleeved gloves or jackets but I don't think either of these options will help on a sunny day when mum wants to see just how I look in a short-sleeved shirt.
Unfortunately, some of my scars (several months old now) are still quite raised and red. What do I do? Help!

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
maybe this is your time to be able to fianlly come out. I know, scarey but it might be the time for you.
I hide mine with clothing (when possible), makeup, even some elf tan lotions help detract from the scars. they dont hide the scars though.
Umm, apart from that, the only thing i can suggest is vitamin E OIL (not cream, oil like in the cpsules you swallow) I pin prick the capsule then spread the oil on my scars. it does take time, but it helps them fade much quicker.
Sorry I cant think of anything else.
