since I last cut and tonight that might all just change. I can't believe I feel like this but oh how much I want to do it. More than that I want to do it which frightens me to some extent. I am 44 years old and have fought this my entire life since I was 9. I hate it (the cutting addiction) and I basically hate myself.

I feel your pain. I havent cut myself in six years. There had been times where i so wanted to pick something up and just carve the shit out of myself. But i keep reminding myself that i cant do it anymore. Be strong. you can do this there is always another way to vent. Have faith.

you can do it!! 3 and a half years is amazing!!! But, even if you slip try to hold on to the fact that you held out for 3.5 years!! I know it will be a huge let down... but just try to hold on!!

YAY me did not give in as of yet thank you very much for the support. The feeling is still right there but so far so good. And I retract the comment about hating the cutting addiction as every scar on my arms, legs and neck tell a story of how much I want to live.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps.
