My best advice would be to just sit down with your mother and have a talk. Tell her how you feel and let her know you want to fix things...she will listen because she wants the best for you...

if you want one, simply ask for one. if you get a psychiatrist, make sure you are completly comfortable opening up to this person, if you feel the least bit uncomfortable, get someone else.
