I used to cut when i was first diagnosed with the BPD and later turning into head banging.
I had 4 years clear, but having troubles at present after trying to grt off medication and now i am back self harming. I am banging my head and bite and scratch myself.
I find it really hard to stop myself and fight the feelings away as much as possibe. I am getting tired of fighting and am slipping to keep under control.
How does anyone fight the feelings?

I dunno, I just try not to think about it, or the present situation that I am in. I try and go blank in my head. Do something that completely occupies your mind. Be with people you trust and like. Think of loved ones.

Well I have not cut myself for the past 12 days. The way I've got through it is to find a method of distraction. I call someone or text them and straight away say, look I'm really not feeling great but i don't wanna talk about it so can you please just talk to me about anything else. You focus so hard on the conversation and what you're talking about it goes away. I find conversations about philisophical things like morals etc the best

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
