I have been cutting for 7 years & recently confessed. Now everyone is watching me. So I've stopped & haven't cut for over a month now, but now I'm throwing up my food...I feel like I deserve it & I can't stop hurting myself. Do I deal with my stress by cutting, or by getting mad at myself & throwing up me food? Please help!

I felt like I was pressured to stop cutting before I was ready, so I started taking overdoses instead, because that way no one would be able to tell. You need to deal with whats causing the self harm and throwing up, perhaps you could ask your family and friends to support you and be there for you when you need them rather than 'watching you'.

YAY you've done well with resisting cutting! And you were really strong when you told other people! However, purging can be just as bad! Sometimes the throwing up gets so out of control that you can't stop your body from throwing up after ingesting anything! So, my vote would be: use none of the above as coping mechanisms... now, I myself am a cutter so, personally I haven't found a better way... but someone started a thread about finding why you cut, your motivations and what the cutting odes for you and then using that info to find better ways of coping... I'll go bump it!

I did it. I finally cut. I couldn't take it anymore. They are beautiful though!

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
