Up until now, I would use cutting as a release / as a form of punishing myself when I felt really bad. But now I've kind of stopped feeling anything when I do it, it's more of a compulsion than a need now, it's not something that will even 'help' me in the way it used to anymore.
I really think I need to stop now, but I think this is something I'll just keep slipping back to.
Anyone know how this feels?

i know exactly how u feel its a force of habit i cant seem to kick it as you kinda forget the feeling and u dont get the feeling you used too

yea! I know, I went through the same thing and then it did work again, because after awhile the compulsion lessened and I stoipped but later I got really stressed and started again remembering the release and it worked again... weird

i know exactly how you feel. you know it doesnt help or anything, yet you go back to it over and over. thats what i would do over and over. but ive forced myself to stop mostly. hope you get through!

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
