I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
Well i have been to counsling and it was helpful, but it is only as helpful as you make it. You need to go into with an open mind and a openess to help and learn.
It can be intimidating to go and talk to a stranger about the thoughts in your head, and the stresses in your life.. but open up to them as much as you feel comfortable at the time... and make sure you like them and that you can trust them.. and that you have that connection. It helps if you see someone that you dont dread going to see.
I hope that helped you out a bit. Keep your head up, change is growth and growth is good.
if your having problems and need somebody to talk to, a counselor will always listen to you and never pass judgement.
i went to counseling for 9 months and it helped like you wouldnt believe.
now i havent cut in almost 40 weeks.
but you have to be open with your counselor. they can help you if you arent honest.
so i say at least give it a try.
here for you anytime hunn.
Counseling helped me only when I was ready for it to help me.
Sounds strange I know
I was in therapy 14 years ago. I found the biggest thing was to be honest with your therapist. They can't help you if you aren't. It might take time to discuss everything that is inside you. But what you do discuss be 100% honest.
I saw several counsellors... some might have been effective with some people, they were not with me. It took several attempts to find someone who could help me with the issue I was deal with.
