I am new to this site as of today, and was wondering if anyone out there was diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder? I am doing DBT right now, seeing a therapist, seeing a psychiatrist, and am on several medications for my cutting and depression. Does anyone else have a BPD diagnosis? I'd love to learn a little more about it from actual people rather than books and online stuff.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
I use CBT and DBT, counselling and medication.
I'm usually very stable with my BPD and have gained a lot of control but still wish to have more over my emotions/feelings and 're' actions as I call them!
For real good assistance with gaining control get your counsellor (if you have one) to speak to your GP and have them work together with you...it has been very valuable for me.
Hope this helps, drop me a line anytime
