after im done cutting, i try to hide it as best as possible, it terrifies me to know that someone might see the scars or sumthing, but at the same time, im wishing that someone would see them and help me. im just to scared to ask. and i dont seek attention from the scars, id never show people just to make them help me, but i want help and i want people to talk w/ me about it but im too scared to ask and show... what do i do!?!

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
you should really look for the right people to talk to about it. someone you know you can trust and will be supportive. prepare them for it and make sure its in the right environment and at an aporopriate time as well (i.e not if you're arguing and dont minimize it by being like "oh hey by the way i'm a self injurer can we talk over brunch") i think thats all i can say about it. hope it helps little bit. have a good week.
hearing the was people talk about people who SI, its totally normal to be afraid.
i was the same way, wanting somebody to talk to me, or help me, but couldnt bring myself to ask.
so i reached out to a school counselor.
i dont know your school policies, but mine was 100%confidential.
i know she wouldnt judge me or anything like that.
i wouldnt recommend turning to a friend for help b/c they dont really know how to help unless they have been through it.
but reach out to somebody, a counselor, teacher, older friend.
and you know you can always talk to me.
hope this helped.
let me know how its going.
