My cousin recently told me that she is a cutter. It's very new for her. She had a huge school load this year and cannot deal with disappointing others. This has lead her to put way too much pressure on herself. I've emailed her the link to this group but I'd really like to know what else I can do to help. I advised her to book an appt. with her universities free councelling service. Unfortunatley they are booked to February. I should have guessed. Anyways now we are trying to come up with Plan B.

I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps. I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting...
Don't make a big deal out of her cutting. She won't stop just because you want her to. Let her talk about it. I hope this helps even just a little.
Offer her suggestions of alternatives to cutting. I know of some if you'd like to know about some. Just message me :D
