I dont understand why I do it, but I just cant stop. It is the only thing that calms me down or makes me feel something besides the pain in my head. Been to ER many times...and have had at least 200 stiches from the years. Something abut the physical feeling and the blood that makes me do it...

There is a program called S.A.F.E.
It's difficult to get into and doesn't have programs everywhere but offers the best help for anyone who cuts, burns, etc. My advice would be to check them out on the internet, see if they have any groups in your area, check if any therapists know of their program, read thier book (has an outline of their program and suggestions to cope).
