I was diagnosed with sciatica 2 weeks ago, during that 2 weeks the only treatment I have had are painkillers and anti-inflamatories, my pain is much better and I am now mobile but my GP is telling me if I don't have surgery soon my sciatic nerve could get damaged and I will be paralized among other things. After reading info from various websites etc. I cannot find anything to suggest this could happen. Has anyone ever heard anything about this?

I miss traveling with my husband. Has anyone found a specific site regarding cruising for widow/widowers or any sightseeing trips.
